The assailant was reported to have arrive at the deceased work shop at about 4.30 p.m and found him all alone which made their mission pretty easier. the assailant without wasting much time swung into an action by shooting him severally on the fore head and dealt several machete cut on his lifeless body to assure mission accomplished . According to our source it was gathered that before passers-by could discern what happened, the assailants had jumped into their car and drove off.
The deceased, who is survived by four wives and many children, was buried shortly after at the Muslim cemetery at Irewolede in Ilorin metropolis by his friends and associates amid wailing.
