Governor Hutchinson's Directive and Execution Schedule

Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson has set in motion a highly contentious plan to execute eight men within a span of just 10 days in April. This extraordinary measure is prompted by the imminent expiration of a critical drug utilized in the state's lethal injection protocol. The execution dates have been designated between April 17 and 27, with the state's Department of Corrections tasked with conducting two executions per day, interspersed with brief intervals between each lethal injection.

Legal Justification and Execution Challenges

Governor Hutchinson underscored the legality of his decision, citing the exhaustive process of legal reviews and appeals spanning over a decade, culminating in the attorney general's referral. However, the proximity of these executions has raised eyebrows, attributed to uncertainties surrounding the availability of drugs for future lethal injections.

Composition of Death Row and Legal Wrangling

The condemned individuals represent nearly a quarter of Arkansas's death row population, all convicted for murders committed between 1989 and 1999. Despite their convictions, the execution of these men has been repeatedly delayed due to legal obstacles and the state's ongoing struggle to procure lethal injection drugs. Attorneys representing the inmates continue their efforts to halt the executions, with applications for clemency and ongoing legal maneuvers.

Concerns Surrounding Lethal Injection Protocol

Of particular concern is the use of midazolam, the first drug in Arkansas's three-drug lethal injection protocol, which is set to expire on April 30. Experts caution that midazolam's efficacy in rendering inmates unconscious is inconsistent, potentially leading to botched executions and violations of humane treatment standards.

Secrecy Statutes and Organizational Preparedness

Arkansas's execution infrastructure is further shrouded in secrecy, with laws safeguarding information about the lethal injection process. Questions linger about the state's organizational readiness to execute such a significant number of individuals within an unprecedented timeframe, with concerns raised over the potential for errors and mishaps during the procedures.

Ethical and Moral Considerations

The impending executions have ignited a fervent debate over the ethics and efficacy of capital punishment. While proponents argue for justice and deterrence, critics contend that the rush to execute poses grave risks and fails to address underlying issues of crime and justice.

Divided Perspectives and Public Opinion

Arkansas legislators and citizens hold diverse viewpoints on the death penalty, reflecting broader societal divisions on the issue. While some advocate for swift and severe punishment, others call for abolition, citing moral and practical concerns.

In navigating this contentious terrain, Arkansas grapples with profound questions of justice, morality, and the sanctity of human life.

ALL DREAMER ARE IN FOR BIG TROUBLE. A REPUBLICAN CHIEFTAIN RICK SANTORUM DECLARES

Tuesday, CNN’s Van Jones hosted a town hall event called “The Messy Truth” featuring former Republican Senator Rick Santorum and Republican strategist Ana Navarro. Among the topics discussed was the future of undocumented people brought to the United States as children, also known as Dreamers. Currently, Dreamers are protected from deportation by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals policy (DACA) which the incoming Trump administration has threatened to overturn.
During the town hall discussion, audience member Elizabeth Vilchis, an undocumented mechanical engineer brought to the United States at age seven, asked Santorum how she should prepare for her future. “I stand to lose all the work that I’ve done if the new administration decides to end DACA,” she said. “I will lose my career and will potentially be labeled for deportation,” she said. Vilchis’ question inspired an unbelievably cold-hearted response by Santorum who told her to leave the country.
What most people in America feel is that you’ve been given a tremendous benefit by being here in this country,” Santorum said. “My final point is that you have the ability to go to any other country right now and apply those wares, and be successful, and reapply to come back to America,” Santorum added. “Go and make the world a better place.” Santorum’s callus response, prompted Navarro to defend Vilchis. “First of all, this is your country,” she said. “No matter what he says, no matter what anybody else says, this is your country.”
Santorum’s remarks made many Twitter users furious.

A BRICKLAYER PERFORMING SURGICAL OPERATION. THE TALE OF BUHARI MINISTERS

The current Nigeria administration can be said to be a total failure in the wake of recession, many have attributed to many reason ranging from social and economic factors some even belief that our dependence on imported goods where the means of purchasing and transacting such business which is dollars will be on very high demand'

However having taking serious look at the configuration of the present Buhari kitchen cabinet one can deduce and name it the conglomerations of round peg in a triangular holes President Buhari might mean well but this is not paying any dividends as the president and its cabinet seems clueless to a greater extent.

How can one explain a situation where the job of repairing a damaged bridge is given to a medical doctor ? ofcourse one should not expect any short and better that absolute failure the present administration has been a big disaster  going by the list of Buhari minister its not just appointing a lot unpopular candidates as minister but,,, not appointing the qualify hands,  lets take a few roll calls of the so called Buhari ministerImage result for Fayemi pics
What has graduate of history and international relations got to do with Ministry of solid materials? was the appointment made by picking of raffle, its really surprising to see  the Former Ekiti State governor ( Kayode Fayemi) who is a graduate of History and international relations being paraded and ministers for Solid Minerals, another prominent example is the minister for Agriculture Audu Ogbeh a graduate of french, the former governor of Rivers Mr Rotimi Amechi a graduate of literature, Babatunde Raji Fashola who brought alot of hardship on Lagosians due to imposition of multi tax as well refusal to continue the postgraduate scholarship introduced by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  some of us would have dropped out of school if not for Tinubu good heart but Raji fashola came and silently abolished the process, Buhari appointed fashola as substantial minister with several ministries inclusive,, can a fourman perform the function of  four men? a lawyer by profession now being paraded as minister for power  works and so on. did fashola actually perform wonders in Lagos? ofcourse NO

Another example among others is Okechuku Enlamah a doctor by profession who is now the minister for trade and investment and ofcourse the list and flops go on and on.what about the Minister of Sport Minister Solomon Dalong who has not bee n making no sense from inception ofcourse hisflip flop during the under 20 dream team where he claimed that the ministry has no business with the dream team being stranded in the united State, the minister for sport just just displayed  another height  cluelessness by saying  that Nigerian qualification for the world cup is just going to be a mere waste of resources , he argue that there is no point participating in the world cup since the  Nigerian team will and can not win the competition, the question now is if the world cup participation all about winning or to foster world peace and unity and other non tangible factor, its not just about winning, what a minister who does not even know the nitty gritty of its ministry a man always showing  open support for the Biafran state from his outfit , what an absolute display of emptiness of idea a gross display of intellectual imbeciles   Am of the opinion that its high time President Buhari come of this crazy political pay off at the expense of Nigerians, professional should be allow to handle what they know how to do best and the likes of Aba Kiyari should desist from taken charge of the ruler ship of Nigeria, Nigerians voted for Buhari (though seems clueless), people should not take the advantage of the president clue-lessness to their advantage and to the overnight cabals in the likes of Raji Fashola, Kayode Fayemi and co you should all be reminded that south west can not be trapped into your political hegemony, the antics of naming Asiwaju Bola Ahmed bad will definitely not see the light of the day

Alleged Smear Campaign Against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu

.

Supporters of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC), have expressed apprehension regarding a purported concerted effort by certain parties to disseminate misinformation with the intent of damaging Tinubu's standing in the eyes of key political figures, including the Presidency and influential members of the party.

Denial of Absence from Reconciliation Meeting

In light of recent media reports alleging Tinubu's absence from a crucial reconciliation meeting addressing the APC crisis in Ondo, his allies have vehemently refuted such assertions. They contend that Tinubu was uninformed about any scheduled meeting, citing prior commitments abroad related to familial and business matters, which necessitated his departure from the country.

Condemnation of Fabricated Narrative

A close confidant of Tinubu, speaking on behalf of the camp, has decried the concocted narrative as a calculated attempt to undermine Tinubu's concerted efforts toward fostering reconciliation within the party. These efforts, the confidant emphasized, have been pursued diligently in collaboration with fellow progressives.

Demand for Clarification

Questioning the existence of the alleged reconciliation meeting, Tinubu's associate has called for clarity on specific details, including the meeting's purported date, venue, attendees, and the authority responsible for its organization. Furthermore, it was stressed that neither the National Chairman, Chief Oyegun, nor any other official from the party had extended a formal invitation or communicated pertinent information regarding such an assembly to Tinubu.

Detailed Travel Itinerary

Providing insight into Tinubu's travel plans, a trusted insider disclosed that Tinubu embarked on a journey from Abuja to Guinea Conakry on October 4. This travel forms part of Tinubu's extensive itinerary, which includes visits to London, Paris, Maryland, Chicago, and several other U.S. cities. These commitments span familial, political, and business spheres, with Tinubu intending to allocate time for a brief vacation amidst his engagements.

Future Engagements

Highlighting Tinubu's upcoming schedule, the source emphasized an impending visit to Ghana in the following month. This visit comes as a response to an invitation extended by President John Mahama, who seeks reelection in the upcoming December elections. Notably, Tinubu had previously relocated to Accra for a three-week period to lend support to President Mahama's successful bid for the presidency following the passing of former President Attah Mills.

Conclusion: Rebuttal of Allegations

In summary, associates of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu have vehemently refuted the baseless allegations and provided clarity regarding his commitments. They underscore his unwavering dedication to fulfilling his diverse responsibilities, both domestically and internationally, amid unfounded attempts to besmirch his reputation.
