 The former Governor Gabriel Suswam’s deputy, Mr. Steven Lawani; two former ministers, Prof. Jerry Agada and Sam Ode; former federal permanent secretary, Mike Onoja; Senator Godwin Okpe and thousands of Peoples Democratic Party faithful in Benue-South Senatorial District have defected from the PDP to the All Progressives Congress.The National Chairman of the APC, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, who received the defectors on Saturday in Oturkpo Local Government Area of the state on behalf of the party, said the district could not afford to be in opposition, while urging them to join the mainstream politics.

Odigie-Oyegun, used the opportunity to call on Benue people to support the APC-led administration of President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Samuel Ortom, in diversifying the economy through agricultural innovations.It should be noted that most people defected are actually from the Senatorial district where the election will be held, it will be amazing and miraculous to see the former Senate President who Nigerians refers to as the Chairman Senate  Committee on observation survive the looming and momentum gathering strong Political Tsuname which might mark the end of the longest served Senate President in Nigeria, he has been surviving, would he still have his way as usual? Bonding more and more as time went by. You left me now with enough good memories of you to share with my younger brothers. As they grow older without you being around, I’ll make sure to pass on what I’ve learned from you. You are a tough act to follow, but with your help everything is going to be fine. Dad, I promise you here that we are all going to live up to your standards.”

Leading conservatives are trying to persuade other "conservative thinkers" to speak out against Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump.

The National Review, one of the most influential publications in American conservative thought, is publishing a dire warning from nearly two dozen of the nation's best-known conservatives, including Glenn Beck, Bill Kristol and Andrew McCarthy.

The man leading the charge, National Review editor Rich Lowry, explained in a "Kelly File" exclusive tonight that Trump doesn't truly understand the ideals and principles that make America great.

He said true conservatives believe in things like limited government, the Constitution and liberty.

"[Those] are basically afterthoughts to Donald Trump. He almost never talks about them," Lowry said, also calling into question the fact that Trump's record is anything but consistent and conservative.

"He has been on the other side on big, hot-button, defining issues like abortion, gun control, taxes and even immigration," Lowry said.

He explained that the U.S. doesn't need a strong-arm leader with attitude, but instead someone to cut the government down to size and restore it to its rightful role.

He said, “They (his grievances) are part of what we are discussing. We are discussing the implementation of our constitution. It has been a major issue and we are discussing it.“There was nothing personal about the whole thing. There was nothing personal amongst us. It was only issues affecting progressivism. I am still a progressive; that is why I won’t go to the conservative rank under any circumstance.”

The Team of Nigerian Police force has succeeded in not just rescued a 65 years old Alhaja Kudirat, a United state based Business Woman who was reportedly to won several gas station around Ajah Lagos and its environs, Alhaja Kudirat, was apprehended by a team of kidnappers led by  one born Niyi Omsola reportedly to have kidnapped Alhaja somewhere around Elemoro Ajah and demanded 50 million at first before the money way reduced down to 3 million after series of negotiation. 

Just Exactly yesterday (23/Jan/2016) Omosola Collected the million as agreed at an agreed venue somewhere at Epe but luck ran against his as the team of SARS had already laid ambush on him, on sighted them , he decided to exchange bullet but was very unlucky to have been shot and got. Alhaja Kudirat has been rescued while the remain of Omosola the kidnapper has been deposited at a morgue.
