The spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, was on Thursday evening released from Kuje prison after perfecting the bail conditions handed down by courts in Abuja.

Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, on January 19 granted Metuh bail in the sum of N400 million and two sureties with landed property in the Federal Capital Territory.Metuh is standing trial for his alleged involvement in the diversion of arms procurement funds after receiving N400 million from the Office of the National Security Adviser in 2014.The PDP spokesman was released from prison after Justice Abang signed his release warrant.The judge, according to reports, signed the release warrant, after receiving details of the two sureties and other requirement provided by metuh
